Mohanlal announces his biography on birthday

On the occasion of his 59th birthday, the Malayalam superstar Mohanlal came out with an exciting announcement. The star wrote on his social media page about his biography titled Mukharagam. “It is a book that will mark the various chapters of the more than 40 years of my acting career. It is also a comprehensive book that covers the revelations of my life experiences,” he wrote.

The biography on Mohanlal is being penned by Bhanu Prakash, whom the actor describes as having travelled with him to convert his life experiences into letters. The book is expected to be out in the stores next year.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal is busy with his acting assignments. He has completed the shooting of Marakkar: Arabikdalinte Simham and the film is in the post production stage. The film, directed by Priyadarshan and made on a budget of Rs 100 crore, will be produced jointly by Antony Perumbavoor, Santhosh T Kuruvilla and CJ Roy under their respective banners Aashirvad Cinemas, Confident Group and Moonshot Entertainment. The film is based on the true life of Kunjali Marakkar IV. It will have extensive sea warfare sequences which will be its highlight. It is expected to release next year.

Mohanlal is currently shooting for Ittymaani: Made in China, which is touted to be a fun entertainer. The film is directed by debutants Jibi and Joju and bankrolled by Anthony Perumbavoor under his banner Aashirvad Cinemas.

He also has the film Big Brother in pipeline. The shooting of this film will begin next month and the groundwork is on. Directed by Siddique, the film has the Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan and others like Anoop Menon, Sarjano Khalid and Satna Titus in the cast. While Mohanlal, Anoop Menon and Sarjano Khalid play brothers in this flick, Arbaaz will be seen as a police officer.
