Megastar Chiranjeevi has started shooting for his much anticipated 150th film, “Kathilantodu”, and the 60-year-old looks quite dapper despite being out of action for nearly 8 years. All credit for his appearance goes to his daughter Sushmita, who is designing her father’s outfits in the film.

Going by the few leaked pictures from the sets, Chiru looks uber-cool in his costumes, and his fans have every reason to cheer for the excellent work done by the NIFT graduate.

A remake of the Tamil smash hit, “Kaththi”, “Kathilantodu” is being directed by VV Vinayak, and has Ram Charan in his debut role as producer. With the shooting progressing at a brisk pace, the makers of the film are hoping to wrap it up in the next four months and are targeting the release early next year. Chiranjeevi will be seen in dual roles, as a petty thief and a rural leader who fights for farmers’ rights.

With the first schedule currently being shot in Hyderabad, the crew will soon head to Kolkata to shoot a prison-break sequence in a specially erected set, built under the supervision of National award-winning art director Thota Tharani.
