Manchu Manoj, son of veteran Telugu star Mohan Babu, has launched his production house MM Arts. On the occasion of Diwali, the actor made an official announcement and has promised content-oriented movies on the banner.

Announcing his new venture Manoj tweeted saying, "New Journey has begun, My Own Production House MM Arts is born and my upcoming movies work has begun with Full Force under MM Arts. I am looking forward to meet, bring in many new talents and I am excited to bring forward some Great movies in future for you all."    

The actor earlier this year decided to stay out of the film circuit and made the announcement that he would serve the people. But recently he took to Twitter to and wrote, “To fall in luv with urself is D 1st step 2 success. Now, I’m loving myself & im burning inside. My love 4 cinema is beyond anything or anyone. Getting ready to win dis time. I guess Even destiny can’t hold any1 down for too long. 15 years since ‘Donga Dongadi’ Thanks 4 D luv (sic).”  
 
Last seen in Okkadu Migaludu in 2017, the film was directed by Ajay Andrews and Ajay Nuthakki. The film had Manchu Manoj playing the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) chief Velupillai Prabhakaran. The film was also dubbed in Tamil and the dubbed version was titled as Naan Thirumba Varuven, a popular dialogue from Rajini’s Kabali. Its technical crew included Siva Nandigama for music, VK Ramaraj for cinematography and Karthika Srinivas for editing. It was produced by S N Reddy and H Laxmikanth Reddy.

Manchu Manoj began his career as a child artiste and was mainly seen as the child version of his father Mohan Babu. He made his debut as a hero in 2004 with Donga Dongadi and since then has acted in a number of films. Although, he delivered hits like 'Bindass', and was appreciated for his restrained performance in 'Vedham', yet, with duds like 'Sri', 'Mr Nookayya' and 'Current Theega,' he is looking for a much-needed break in his career.
