Mahesh Babu takes full responsibility for ‘Brahmotsavam’ debacle

Written by : TNM

The debacle of Mahesh Babu-starrer Brahmotsavam has dented the career of its director Sreekanth Addala, who is being blamed for giving the former one of his biggest flops. As audiences and critics gang up against the filmmaker, none other Mahesh Babu himself has come to his rescue and has taken the blame upon himself.

“Don’t blame the director for the failure, as I want to take the responsibility. It was my choice to pick director Srikanth Addala for the film and it’s my error of judgment,” Mahesh had told reporters minutes before he left on a holiday to London with his family.

It’s very mature of Mahesh to own up to his failure and not conveniently blame the director instead. Despite Brahmotsavam’s result, fans of the actor are happy with their star’s decision to accept his failure.

Once back from his holiday, Mahesh will commence work on A.R Murugadoss’s yet-untitled Tamil-Telugu bilingual project. Tipped to be made on a whopping budget of Rs. 90 crore, the film will be predominantly shot in Mumbai.
