Here is the good news for all Mahesh Babu fans out there. The star’s mega hit film, Raja Kumarudu, will hit the screens on January 27, 2017. Yes, the Tamil dubbed version will be out in theatres. The Prince has a huge following in Tamil Nadu and this became evident with the success of Dookudu and Nenokkadine at the TN box office.

Following the success of these films, the makers of Raja Kumarudu, which released in the year 1999, decided to release it in Tamil. Incidentally, the film was Mahesh Babu’s debut as hero and the Bollywood actor Preity Zinta played the heroine.

Mahesh Babu is currently playing the lead role in the AR Murugadoss directorial, Shambavamee, which is being made in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. This film will be Mahesh Babu’s first direct Tamil flick.

After completing Shambavamee, he will be working on a Koratala Siva directorial.
