Written by : TNM

Following the success of Irudhi Suttru, Madhavan will be next seen as an encounter specialist in Vikram Vedha, which is being helmed by director duo Pushkar-Gayathri. While he was seen in a beefed up avatar in his role as a washed-up boxing coach in Irudhi Suttru, he was required to shed weight and look lean for his role in Vikram Vedha, and he apparently achieved the look without hitting the gym.

Talking about his weight loss, he said in a statement: "I'm glad that I've managed to achieve this look without any workout and just followed my own secret diet which got me such a fantastic result. I do not eat after 6 p.m. and ensure to keep at least five-and-half-hour gap between two meals.”

Madhavan joins the sets of the film in March and will shoot non-stop to complete the project and move on to this other commitments. Vikram Vedha also stars Vijay Sethupathi in the role of a gangster.

From June or July, he’s expected to commence work on the Tamil remake of Charlie, which marks the debut of Sai Pallavi in Kollywood. The film will be directed by Vijay.
