Lawrence, Ritika Singh team up for Shivalinga's Tamil remake

Written by : TNM

Actress Ritika Singh has bagged a role in the Tamil remake of recent Kannada blockbuster Shivalinga and will be seen next to actor-choreographer Raghava Lawrence in the film.

The actress seems to be having a good run especially after giving an impactful performance in Irudhi Suttru earlier this year. Apart from the aforementioned remake, she has also signed for a role in Vijay Sethupathi’s Aaandavan Kattalai.

Veteran filmmaker P. Vasu, who directed the original Shivalinga, will helm the Tamil remake as well.

The project was initially planned as a sequel to horror-thriller Chandramukhi; however, the idea was subsequently dropped and the film will now be a standalone remake.

The rest of the cast and crew are in the process of being finalized.

Shivalinga featured Kannada superstar Shivrajkumar and Vedhika Kumar in the lead roles and incidentally, completed its 100-day run in cinemas last week.
