Samyuktha Hegde of Kirik Party fame has been roped in to play an important role in Prabhu Deva’s upcoming film. The actor is extremely happy with the offer and couldn’t thank the filmmakers enough as she had missed out on an earlier opportunity to share screen space with the multi-talented actor. Samyuktha was to have paired up with Prabhu Deva in a film much earlier but it did not happen.

Speaking to the Times of India, Samyuktha had reportedly said, “Being a dancer, I was really upset at having missed the chance to work with Prabhu sir earlier on. But I'm glad I was able to clinch it this time around.” Adding some details about the film, she said, “It's a comedy and will see me playing a 25-year-old who is Prabhu sir's love interest. I will even feature in a dance number with him, which is clearly a huge moment for me.”

Samyuktha also confirmed that the film will be directed by Pradeep and produced by Prabhu Deva under his home banner. She also revealed that the film’s shooting will commence in October and is all excited about working with the star. The Times of India has quoted her as saying, “We will go on the floors in October. The last time I met sir, I was only able to muster a 'Hi'. I heard he loved my turnout in Kirik Party, so I'm looking forward to a detailed interaction with him when we begin shooting.”

Prabhu Deva is currently busy with a slew of films in his kitty including Yung Mung Sung directed by MS Arjun, Mercury, directed by Karthik Subburaj, Kamoshi, directed by Chakri Toleti and Gulebakavali by Kalyan S.
