'Killing' Senthil over and over again is not funny, actor files complaint

Written by : TNM Staff

Miffed with repeated rumours of his 'death' going viral on the instant-messaging platforms like Whatsapp, Kollywood comedian Senthil lodged a complaint with the Commissioner of Police, Madurai on Tuesday.

“We have received a complaint from the actor and are investigating the matter. It is quite a task to arrive at the point from where these forwards could have originated,” said Shailesh Kumar Yadav, Commissioner of Police for Madurai city to The News Minute.

The 65-year-old’s death rumours have been circulating on the internet since March this year. “I’m perfectly fine. I request my fans and well-wishers to not believe in any rumours,” said the actor in a video message, earlier this month.
