The massive success of the Kannada film KGF: Chapter 1 has ensured that its director Prashanth Neel bags some of the best offers in other film industries. According to sources in the know, the director has been approached by the top production house in Tollywood, Mythri Movie Makers to make a film with Jr NTR in the lead. Reports are that it will be a Telugu-Kannada bilingual that will be released in Tamil and Hindi as well. However, there is no confirmation yet on this project.

While the news about Prashanth Neel-Jr NTR film is yet to be clarified, we hear that the director is also in talks with Prabhas and Mahesh Babu. There are also fresh rumours that Prashanth is in talks with Mahesh Babu for a film under Dil Raju's production. He also met Baahubali star Prabhas recently which is also speculated that he might collaborate for a project with Prabhas. Well, we need to wait to get confirmed reports on the director’s next hero in Tollywood.

Meanwhile, the director is busy directing the sequel to KGF. KGF: Chapter 1 was directed by Prashanth Neel, who also wrote the story, screenplay and dialogues. Vijay Kiragandur produced the project under his banner Hombale Films.

The technical team comprised music director Ravi Basrur, cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda, and art director Shivakumar. While Yash and Srinidhi Shetty play the lead pair in it, the rest of the star cast includes Achyuth Kumar, Nassar, Anant Nag and Vasishta N. Simha.

As mentioned earlier, the KGF team is currently in the process of making a sequel to it. A sizeable portion of the sequel was completed when KGF: Chapter 1 was shot and the team is now set to can the remaining portions. The film was launched earlier this year and will go on floors on this month in Mysuru.  Huge sets are erected in the selected locations.  There are also reports that Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt might play the antagonist in the second part and Raveena Tandon has been roped in for a pivotal role, while there is no official update.
