Keerthy Suresh to do a cameo in Siva Karthikeyan’s next

Written by : Digital Native

Siva Karthikeyan and Keerthy Suresh have shared the screen space in Rajini Murugan and Remo and both the films had a good run at the box office. They will be working together for the third time but this time Keerthy will be seen making a guest appearance in Siva Karthikeyan’s Seema Raja.

The shooting of this film is underway with Samantha Akkineni playing the female lead. The action-comedy-drama is being directed by Ponram, who had worked with Siva Karthikeyan in Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam and Rajini Murugan, both of which were good hits.

Seema Raja, scheduled for release on September 13 as a Vinayagar Chathurthi release, has Napoleon, Simran, Soori, Yogi Babu, Manobala, and Sathish in the supporting roles.

The film, an action -omedy-drama, is being bankrolled by RD Raja under his banner 24 AM Studios. D Imman is composing the tunes for this flick with Balasubramaniem cranking the camera and Vivek Harshan taking charge at the editing table.

Keerthy Suresh’s inclusion in the star cast could work out well for Seema Raja for two important reasons. While one is that she has worked with Siva in two films earlier and both the film were big hits in their career and the other is her latest success with Nadigayar Thilagam in which she portrayed the role of the legendary actor Savitri. Keerthy is lauded for her performance in the Savitri biopic and her fan base has increased several folds now.

Confirming the news that she is part of Seema Raja, Keerthy had tweeted: “My pleasure to be a part of #SeemaRaja and happy to work with you again @RDRajaofficial sir ! @24AMSTUDIOS https://t.co/sMhaKUWl3z.

There are reports of Seema Raja being a semi-period film but this has not been confirmed by the team yet. Incidentally, Siva Karthikeyan and Ponram teamed up for two films earlier, and Seema Raja being their third collaboration together, fans wish they would score a hattrick.
