Written by : TNM

Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan has completed the first schedule of his upcoming trilingual comedy, Sabash Naidu, in Los Angeles.

The next schedule of “Sabash Naidu”, which Haasan is directing, was likely to take place in Hyderabad but it has now been stalled as doctors have advised him more rest. According to industry grapevine, the Viswaroopam actor will be resuming the shoot of the film from January next year.

The actor recently fractured his leg after he slipped and fell from the stairs of his office.

Sabash Naidu, said to be made on the lines of spy thriller Johnny English, stars Brahmanandam as Haasan’s sidekick and Ramya Krishnan as his wife. Shruti, who has teamed up with her father for the first time, plays his daughter on-screen while Kamal’s younger daughter Akshara Haasan is working as an assistant director on the project.

The film, which has music by maestro Ilayaraja, is simultaneously being shot in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Saurabh Shukla and Roger Narayanan play important roles in the project, which has been funded by Lyca Productions.
