Kalidas Jayaram done with his part in Jeethu Joseph directorial

Kalidas Jayaram’s Poomaram took a long time to release and looks like the young actor is making it up by completing his ongoing assignments quickly. He has completed shooting for his portions for the Jeethu Joseph directorial, which has not been titled yet. On the occasion of wrapping it up, Kalidas wrote on his Facebook page: “That’s A Wrap Up After 42 Days Of Shoot Thank You Jeethu Joseph Sir.”

Kalidas, son of actor Jayaram, is acting opposite actor Aparna Balamurali in this film. The cast also includes actors Ganapati, Shebin Benson, Esther Anil, and Vishnu Govindan. Speaking about the film, director Jeethu Joseph had said in an interview to the Times of India earlier, “It’s a youth-centric comedy-drama, a genre that I last worked on for Life of Josutty. The film is about five youngsters who after certain issues in their childhood wants to be part of a quotation gang. Kalidas plays the leader of this friends’ group.” More details about this film - especially its title - is expected to be out soon.

Kalidas, besides this Jeethu Joseph directorial, has also inked a deal to star in the Midhun Manuel Thomas directorial Argentina Fans Kaattoorkadavu. Paired up with him will be Aishwarya Lekshmi of Maayanadhi fame. The film will be bankrolled by Aashiq Usman. Midhun Manuel Thomas and John Manthrickal will be penning the script jointly for it. Besides Kalidas Jayaram and Aishwarya Lekshmi the film will also have a bevy of newbies making their debut. On this football-based film, director Midhun Manuel Thomas had said earlier, “Not only Argentina fans, but all football fans can enjoy the film... AIt is real football fans that appear in this film.”

Jayaram junior also has a Santosh Sivan directorial lined up needing his attention apart from a project with Alphonse Putheran.
