The shooting of the Malayalam film Argentina Fans Kaattoorkadavu was wrapped up a few weeks ago and it is currently in the post-production mode. According to reports doing the rounds, the film will hit the marquee on March 1 and preparations to meet this deadline are on.

Argentina Fans Kaattoorkadavu is directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas and bankrolled by Ashiq Usman under the banner of Ashiq Usman Productions. The film has Kalidas Jayaram and Aishwarya Lekshmi playing the lead pair. Besides them, the film will have a set of newbies in different roles.

The first look of Argentina Fans Kattoorkadavu was unveiled sometime ago and garnered the attention of the film buffs. This script for this football based film has been penned jointly by Midhun Manuel Thomas and John Manthrickal. Gopi Sunder has composed the tunes for this flick with Renadive being the cinematographer and Lijo Paul taking care of the editing.

It may be noted that director Midhun Manuel Thomas made his directorial debut with Aadu, which turned out to be a big hit and went on to don the director’s robes for films such as Ann Maria Kalippilaanu, Alamara and Aadu 2.

On the other hand, Kalidas Jayaram’s debut as a hero was with Poomaram after which he began bagging some prestigious offers. He has signed a deal to do a film with the noted director Alphonse Putheran. The film will be the director’s maiden Tamil directorial, which has not been titled yet. It may be mentioned that this project is the next directorial from Alphonse Putheran after the massive success of Premam. Besides these films, Kalidas has a film each with ace cinematographer and director Santosh Sivan titled Jack and Jill and Jeethu Joseph’s Mr and Mrs Rowdy.
