Over the last few days, some reports claim that Kajal Aggarwal has been finalized as Chiranjeevi’s pair in his highly anticipated 150th film after months of deliberation. It was reported that Kajal had met Chiranjeevi on the sets earlier this week and was eventually signed on for the project. However, when we did some digging, the reports turned out to be mere speculation and our trustworthy sources confirmed that Kajal was one of the heroines being considered for the role.

“Kajal has not been finalized as the heroine, though she was considered among a few other actresses including Anushka Shetty and Nayanthara. One of the reasons Kajal might not do this project is because she was recently roped in to star opposite Ajith in Thala 57, which is slated to go on the floors from next month. In its first schedule, Ajith’s project will be shot for nearly 40 days in Bulgaria, and Kajal will be required to be part of it and hence, won’t have dates to be part of Chiranjeevi’s project,” a source told The News Minute.

Being directed by V.V Vinayak, the film is the official remake of Tamil blockbuster Kaththi, and it’s being jointly produced by Ram Charan and Lyca Productions.
