Kajal Aggarwal in a black comedy thriller next

Written by : TNM

With projects such as Vivegam and Vijay 61 in her kitty, Kajal Aggarwal is undoubtedly the busiest actress in tinsel town. Despite her busy working schedule, she has found time to accept another offer which she is yet to officially sign.

Kajal is in talks with director Deekay, with whom she had worked in last year’s Kavalai Vendam, for a yet-untitled black comedy thriller. Interestingly, it will be a female-centric project and she’s expected to play the lead.

The project was originally planned with Nayanthara. However, owing to her back-to-back commitments, the makers couldn’t wait for her to get free. Hence, they decided to go ahead and make the film with Kajal. “Deekay and Kajal know each other very well and share a wonderful relationship. She has already heard a couple of lines of the story and she wants a narration soon,” a source from the film’s unit said.

If everything falls in place, the regular shooting will commence from April. The rest of the cast will be finalised in a month’s time.
