Written by : TNM

The Jayaram starrer Sathya will hit the silver screens on April 20th, 2017. The star, appearing in the salt and pepper look, will be seen as an action hero in the movie. Playing the female leads in the movie are Parvathy Nambiar and Roma Asrani. Incidentally, Roma will be staging her comeback with this flick after a long gap. Bankrolled by Feros Saheed under the banner Shehnas Movie Creations, the film has been directed by Dhipan. Unfortuntely, the director passed away before the film's release.

While Jayaram plays the lead role in Sathya, the film also features Sudheer Karamana, Aju Varghese, Major Ravi, Vijayaraghavan, and Nandhu among others. Bollywood star Rahul Dev and Kannada star Vinod Kumar also play pivotal roles in the film.

Pairing up with Jayaram in the movie will be Nikita Thukral. While Diphan had directed this action thriller, the story, screenplay and dialogues were written by A. K. Sajan. Reports have it that Raai Laxmi was the initial choice to play Roma’s role in the film but had to be replaced for undisclosed reasons. Gopi Sundar has composed music for Sathya and Bharani K Dharan has cranked the camera. Shamjith has edited the film.

The teaser and trailer that were released have already got film buffs waiting in anticipation. With Jayaram in a new get-up, his fans just can’t wait to see more of him on the silver screens. Sources in the trade opine that Sathya could be Jayaram’s landmark movie as he will be seen as an action hero.

Interestingly, director Diphan had given a break to Prithviraj with his directorial Puthiya Mukham in 2009 and Sathya is expected to do the same for Jayaram's career. The release of Sathya is hardly a couple of days away and fans are gearing up for a big celebration!
