The speculations about the release date of Ram Charan Teja’s Rangasthalam 1985 have finally come to an end with the producers making an official announcement about it.

The official Twitter handle of Mythri Movie Makers has come up with the announcement that the film will hit the marquee on March 29. When Rangasthalam went on to the floors, it was touted to be a Sankranti release but was postponed for various reasons. Incidentally, Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s untitled film has managed to get the same slot now.

Written and directed by Sukumar, this semi-period flick is presented by Surekha Konidela and bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar, Mohan Cherukuri, Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan under the banner Mythri Movie Makers.

Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni play the lead pair in this entertainer with Anasuya Bharadwaj, Jagapati Babu, Rambha, Gouthami and Aadhi Pinisetty in pivotal roles. Pooja Hegde will be seen making a special appearance in a song. Devi Sri Prasad has composed music for this flick with R Rathnavelu cranking the camera and Navin Nooli in charge of the editing.

After reports of various release dates making rounds, the makers of this magnum opus have decided to finally come out with the exact date. It is indeed a good strategy by the makers of Rangasthalam to release the film on March 29 so that it could cash in on the summer vacation season.

It may be mentioned here that fans of Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan were not keen on the uncle and nephew clashing at the box office and this big clash has finally been averted.

According to latest reports, it could now be Pawan Kalyan, Jr NTR and Ravi Teja clashing at the box office during Sankranti.
