It's official: Puri Jagannadh’s 'Rogue' to release on Ugadi

It is finally official that the Puri Jagannadh directorial, Rogue, will be released on Ugadi, March 29.

Starring debutant Ishan, a relative of ace producer CR Manohar, Rouge has Mannara Chopra and Angela Krisinzki as the female leads.

With the film being certified with U/A by the Censor Board, it is gearing up for release.

According to trade sources, plans are on to release the film in about 1000 screens worldwide. This massive release should ensure the film’s success at the box office.

The bilingual – Telugu and Kannada – will mark Puri Jagannadh’s re-entry into Sandalwood after a decade and half. The last time he had directed a Kannada film was Appu, which marked the debut of Puneeth Rajkumar in Sandalwood.

Produced by CR Manohar and CR Gopi under the banner Tanvi Films, the film has music by Sunil Kashyap.

The supporting cast includes Thakur Anoop Singh, Ajaz Khan, Avinash and Ali.

The filmmakers have been pumping in a lot of money and efforts to promote the film and it is expected to pay off at the box office.
