It’s Tovino Thomas again for Dhanush’s second project in Mollywood

The National award-winning actor and one of the most successful producers in the Tamil film industry, Dhanush, will be making his debut as a producer in Mollywood with the Tovino Thomas starrer Tharangam. The project was announced some weeks ago and is progressing rapidly.

Meanwhile, we have news that Dhanush is all set to bankroll his second Malayalam film and he has picked up Tovino Thomas once again. Titled Maradona, the film be directed by debutant Vishnu Narayanan and scripted by Krishnamoorthy. Incidentally, Vishnu Narayanan is an associate of the well-known director Aashiq Abu.

Pairing up with Tovino in Maradona will be debutant Sharanya Nair. Others in the star cast of this action thriller are Chemban Vinod, Nishthar Ahammad, Liyona Lishoy, Titto Wilson, Jince Bhaskar and Kichu Varkey. The technical crew of the film includes Sushin Shyam as the music composer and Deepak D Menon as the cinematographer. The shooting of this film is expected to begin in the fag end of July and will be shot extensively in Bengaluru and Wayanad.

On the other hand, Tharangam, which is directed by Dominic Arun, has Tovino Thomas and Neha Iyer playing the lead pair. The script has been written jointly by Dominic Arun and Anil Narayanan. The star cast also includes Balu Varghese and Vijayaraghavan in pivotal roles. Ashwin Renju is the music director for the film with Deepak D Menon being the director of photography and editing by Sree Nath. Touted to be an action comedy entertainer, the film is bankrolled by Dhanush under his banner Wunderbar Films. With Dhanush roping in Tovino Thomas for two successive films, fans are waiting eagerly for the films’ release as both of them belong to different genres.
