Also, this album is very special as it marks the association of Darshan and music director V Hari Krishna for the 25th time. On the intro song, the film’s producer Shylaja Nag had said in a media statement, “We have not gone with the usual idea of introducing a mass hero,” indicating that there is something special in it. Director Chethan Kumar, known for penning some of the best intro song lyrics, is the lyricist for this song. Well, now fans can indeed watch out for this special number.

Yajamana is nearing completion and the film in the post-production mode. While Darshan plays the lead role in the film, it has Rashmika Mandanna playing the woman lead along with Tanya Hope as the second heroine. Dhananjay, Thakur Anoop Singh and Devaraj will be seen playing significant roles in this flick. Bankrolled by Shylaja Nag and B Suresha, the film is being directed by Pon Kumaran.

V Hari Krishna will not only be composing the tunes for Yajamana but is also credited as its creative head for penning the story along with director Pon Kumaran.

Talking about the film’s title, Shylaja said that the team finalised it after considering a couple of other titles. She also clarified that Darshan’s Yajamana has nothing to do with the Vishnuvardhan starrer of the same name that was released more than a decade and half ago.

Darshan will now be shifting his focus to Odeya, which is touted to be the remake of the hit Tamil film Veeram that had Ajith in the lead. With a number of films in his kitty, Darshan has a busy year ahead!
