Each time the buzz about a new Harry Potter book surfaced, fans would get on the web, discussing endlessly about the plots and sub-plots. Then there were those who were fans of the movie franchise. So who in India searched more about Harry Potter and his friends at Hogwarts?Data made available by Google Trends show that the most number of searches about Harry Potter between 2004- 2014 were by people in Delhi. Kerala comes a close second in overall search interest, with three cities from the state Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode in the top 10 cities list. One look at the data and its clear that the interest waned after 2011, when the final instalment of the movie was out. That's the trend worldwide too. Maybe its time J K Rowling revived the story of Harry Potter and all the wizards and muggles we loved.
