The name Anadita Patel trended on Twitter after a woman tweeted about Muhammed Ali, the world’s “greatest footballer”.
For several hours on Saturday, the name Anadita Patel trended on Twitter as someone found that she had tweeted: “RIP Mohammed Ali. Greatest footballer of all time better than Maradona, Messi and Ronaldo.”
Soon, Twitter erupted with jokes, some of them nasty, with the nastiness spilling over into making fun of others as well.

Some hours later, a search for Twitter accounts by the name Anadita Patel revealed that the original account did not exist. Another account @anadita_patel1 appearing to be Anadita’s, said she had deactivated her old account because people were spamming it. But it is unclear if this belongs to her. Several parody accounts too have popped up.
