Gautham Menon to direct Arun Vijay’s 25th film

Written by : TNM

Filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon is currently busy wrapping up Vikram’s Dhruva Natchathiram, which is being shot in Turkey. It’s a big budget spy thriller and it marks the first collaboration of Vikram and Gautham.

As the film’s shooting is coming to an end, it has been learnt that Gautham has already put together his next project and it will see him join hands with Arun Vijay, with whom he had already worked in Yennai Arindhaal. Gautham gave a new lease of life for Arun with Yennai Arindhaal, in which he played the antagonist. Gautham is all set to direct Arun’s 25th film and it will be a special project.

While not much information is available about the project as of now, it is however believed it will be an action thriller. In his first interview, post the release of Yennai Arindhaal, Gautham had said he will team up with Vijay for another project. It was supposed to happen earlier but it took time and the delay shouldn’t bother both of them. Apparently, Arun is working extremely hard to shed weight and look muscular for this project which is tipped to go on the floors later this year.

Arun is currently shooting for action-thriller Thadam, in which he plays dual roles. The project is being directed by Magizh Thirumeni and it marks their second collaboration after Thadaiyara Thakka. Gautham, on the other hand, will finish Dhanush’s Enai Nokki Paayum Thota before commencing work on this project.
