Gautham Menon all praise for Vikram’s performance in ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’

Written by : TNM

Director Gautham Menon is awed by Vikram’s performance so much so that he has said, “Sometimes it’s best to stand back under the shade when a cool and super performance unfolds.” The shooting of Dhruva Natchathiram is happening in Europe where the team is busy shooting in Turkey. On the film, he said, “Hoping to take you into Dhruv’s world soon. Or John’s. Or Yohan’s. Nandri Chiyaan for waltzing through a gruelling schedule.”

In this movie, Vikram will appear in three different get ups, which will be a treat to watch for the film buffs. It is worth mentioning that Gautham Menon and Vikram are teaming up for the first time which has upped the expectation levels.

Playing the female leads in this film are Vikram, Aishwarya Rajesh and Ritu Varma. It boasts of a strong star cast with actors such as Simran, R Parthiepan, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Sathish Krishnan, Dhivyadharshini, Shravanthi Sainath, Maya Sundarakrishnan, Vamsi Krishna and Munna Simon in pivotal roles.

Touted to be a spy thriller, Dhruva Natchathiram is bankrolled by Gautham Menon, Venkat Somasundaram, Reshma Ghatala, Senthil Veerasamy and P Madan under the banners Ondraga Entertainment and Kondaduvom Entertainment. Harris Jayaraj has composed music for this film with Manoj Paramahamsa, Jomon T John, Santhana Krishnan and Ravichandran cranking the camera in various stages of filmmaking. Praveen Anthony is the editor of this film.

While the teaser of the film, shot in New York, was released earlier this year, the shooting began to proceed at a slow pace owing to various reasons. In August, the team was in Georgia where they had shot some scenes in gruelling weather conditions. The team is currently shooting in Istanbul. Reports are that Dhruva Natchathiram is slated for release for Pongal early next year.
