Jayasurya’s next film in the pipeline has been titled Anveshanam, meaning investigation, with a tagline: Truth is always bizarre. The actor posted the first look poster of this film on his social media and wrote: “Here is presenting the first look poster for my next with director Prashob Vijayan. Happy to introduce our debut scriptwriter Francis Thomas with this project! This was one of those projects where the cinematography is very crucial. Thank you Sujit Vasudev for your incredible support. Absolutely enjoyed working with this vibrant team. Presenting 'Anveshanam', a Family thriller. (sic)”

The poster shows the actor looking out of what looks like an open window, that forms one of the many blue blocks of a building. It also says that the film is a September release.

The film has Shruti Ramachandran playing the female lead and it is bankrolled jointly by Mukesh R Mehta, AV Anoop and CV Sarathi under the banner of E4 Entertainment and AVA Productions. Prasobh Vijayan, the director, has earlier made the revenge thriller film Lilli. The technical crew of Anveshanam includes Francis Thomas for scripting, Ratheesh Ravi for dialogues, Appu Bhattathiri for editing, Jakes Bejoy for music and Vishnu Govind and Sree Sankar of Sound Factory for sound designing.

Jayasurya is currently busy with Thrissur Pooram in which he plays the lead role. Swathi Reddy has been roped in play the female lead. She will be seen as Jayasurya’s wife. The film is directed by debutant Rajesh Mohanan and produced by Vijay Babu of Friday Film House. Music composer Ratheesh Vega has written the story and the script and also composed the songs of the film. Deepu Joseph will be in charge of the editing and RD Rajasekar has been signed up to crank the camera. Thrissur Pooram will be shot in different locations in Thrissur, Coimbatore and Hyderabad.

Apart from that, Jayasurya will also be seen playing an important cameo in the Chemban Vinod starrer Puzhikkadakan. The cameo role was so impressive that Jayasurya did not want to let it go, we hear from sources. Wielding the megaphone for Puzhikkadakan is debut director Gireesh Nair who has penned the story in association with Unni Malayil. The film’s screenplay and dialogues have been written by Shyal Satheesh and Hari Prasad Koleri.
