Written by : Digital Native

The first look of the Telugu film Romantic is out and features the lead pair Akash Puri and Ketika Sharma. From the title and the first look, it is evident that this will be a complete romantic entertainer.

Sharing the first look online, the official twitter handle of the film tweeted: “Romance is always intense and here is #ROMANTIC First Look Starring @ActorAkashPuri and #ketikasharma. A @purijagan @Charmmeofficial Production. Directed by @anilpaduri @PuriConnects #PCFilm.”

Veteran filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma shared the first-look on social media and wrote, “BLOCK BUSTER #issmartShanker team @purijagan and @Charmmeofficial unleash a sizzling first look of #Romantic directed by ⁦@anilpaduri starring @ActorAkashPuri and #ketikasharma ..I happened to see a song last night and never seen a more romantically sensuous song.”

Romantic, which is bankrolled by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme under their Puri Connects banner, is Akash Puri’s second film. It is directed by Anil Paduri and has been written by the actor’s father Puri Jagannadh. The film’s star cast also includes Mandira Bedi and Divyadarshini aka DD in pivotal roles.  It may be noted here that though Mandira has acted in several Hindi films, Romantic will be her second Telugu flick. Her maiden Tollywood film was the Prabhas starrer Saaho, which is currently under progress.

It may be noted here that Puri Jagannadh and Charmme are collaborating for the second time after the massive success of iSmart Shankar, which the former had directed. iSmart Shankar had Ram Pothineni and Nabha Natesh in the lead roles with Brahmanandam, Rao Ramesh, Tanikella Bharani, and Pavithra Lokesh among others in supporting roles. Mani Sharma had composed music for this flick with Raj Thota cranking the camera and Junaid Siddiqui in charge of the editing. Shaik Jonny was the art director of iSmart Shankar with stunts choreographed by Real Satheesh.
