Fahadh Faasil's 2018 will be a busy year

Fahadh Faasil is one of the busiest stars in the Malayalam film industry. With enviable roles in his kitty, he has a number of films that are slated for release this year and let’s take a look at this line up.

Having created a mark for himself in the Malayalam film industry, Fahadh set his foot in Kollywood with the Siva Karthikeyan starrer Velaikkaran and has tasted success. He has been signed up for the Vijay Sethupathi starrer Super Deluxe and there is a talk that he may star in Ajith’s upcoming film Viswasam to be directed by Siva. Also in his kitty is the Mani Ratnam directorial in which he will be sharing the screen space with Simbu and Vijay Sethupathi, according to reports.

He has four Malayalam movies lined up for release this year - Trance, Aanenkilum Allenkilum, Vambathi, and Safari. And in the year 2019, his fans will get to see him in four more movies – Kalyanam, Antichrist, Maniyarayil Jinnu and Kappa Pappadam. Further, the star is in talks with leading filmmakers which means there is a chance of this list expanding.

Fahadh Faasil made his acting debut as a child artiste with a small role in Pappayude Swantham Appoos in 1992.

His debut as hero came in the year 2002 with Kaiyethum Doorath and since then he has starred in a number of movies including Kerala Cafe, 22 Female Kottayam, Friday, Annayum Rasoolum, Bangalore Days, Maheshinte Prathiakaaram, Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum etc.

His last release was Carbon, which released on January 19th, 2018. The film has received positive reviews and is touted to be a winner at the box office. Directed by Venu, the film has Mamta Mohandas playing the female lead.
