The News Minute | January 14, 2015 | 11:10 am ISTFacebook in partnership with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is planning to send "Amber Alerts" to its users in specific areas where a child has gone missing, to help find missing children.As soon as law enforcement issues an Amber Alert, Facebook then sends a targeted amber alert to the News Feed on your phone or computer along with detailed information from law enforcement, taking into account your proximity to the last seen area of the child.According to a report in ABC news, the alert may include any information that would aid the public in spotting a child. People will also be able to share the alert with their Facebook friends, in hopes of extending the reach.World News Videos | ABC World NewsMark Zuckerburg, the founder and CEO of Facebook, in a post said that the company deeply cared about this cause."Over the past few years, we've seen people using Facebook on their own to help find kids who have been abducted.
