Every woman must watch ‘Theeran Adhigaram Ondru’, says Karthi

Karthi is upbeat about his upcoming film Theeran Adhigaram Ondru. The music album of the film was launched on Thursday in Chennai.

Speaking about the film during the event, the star said that it is a must-watch for every woman. Elaborating further, he pointed out that the film was made taking into account several real-life incidents. Putting in a lot of hard work for his project, Karthi said that he had the opportunity to interact with several cops to get into the skin of the role he plays in the film. He went on to add that his respect for the police went up after getting to know the efforts they put in to crack each case. Applauding director H Vinod for his work in Theeran Adhigarm Ondru, Karthi said that he would go places in the future.

On the film, the director said that it will be an educative film but there would be a lot of commercial elements included as well. In other words, it will be a commercial action thriller with lots of romance included.

For the first time, Karthi and Tollywood's Rakul Preet Singh will be seen working together. It is the second film of Rakul in Tamil, who recently made her Kollywood debut with Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Spyder. The film also has Abhimanyu Singh, Bose Venkat, Scarlett Mellish Wilson, Matthew Varghese, Rohit Pathak, Jameel Khan, Kishore Kadam and Surendar Thakur.

Ghibran has composed music for this film with Sathyan Sooryan wielding the camera and Shivanandeeswaran editing it. Made on a budget of Rs. 50 crore, SR Prakashbabu and SR Prabhu are bankrolling the venture under their banner Dream Warrior Pictures with Reliance Entertainment bagging the distribution rights. Theeran Adhigaram Ondru is touted to hit the silver screens on November 17, 2018.

Considering the huge fan base that Karthi enjoys in Andhra and Telangana, the producers have decided to release the film in Telugu under the title Khakee.
