Written by : Digital Native

Dulquer Salmaan and director Rosshan Andrrews are all set to team up for a new project and we hear that it will start rolling in April. The groundwork for this film is on and in the meantime, both the star and the director are busy with their respective assignments.

Noted writer duo Bobby – Sanjay will be scripting the Dulquer Salmaan starrer. An interesting detail that has surfaced about this film is that it is a cop drama and Dulquer will be seen donning the khaki. Details about the rest of the cast and crew of this project are expected to be out once things are finalised.

Meanwhile, Rosshan Andrrews’s Prathi Poovankozhi is getting ready for release. It was revealed some time ago that the director will be making his debut as an actor with this film, in which Manju Warrier plays the lead. While there are various speculations about the character that he plays in the film, his character intro poster was unveiled recently as a reflection Manju stares into, on a broken mirror. Reports have it that the director was looking for a suitable actor for the role but nothing worked out favorably following which he decided to don the greasepaint himself.

In the recently released trailer, Manju Warrier appears to play a saleswoman in the backdrop of a crime. Saiju Kurup plays the cop, Anusree a friend, and Alencier another close acquaintance.

The film is written by Unni R, a change for Rosshan’s films which are mostly written by Sanjay and Bobby. The film is produced by Gokulam Gopalan and co-produced by VC Praveen and Baiju Gopalan. G Balamurugan is the cinematographer and Sreekar Prasad is the editor. Music is by Gopi Sunder.

The film is expected to release on December 20.

Rosshan had also directed Manju Warrier’s comeback film How Old Are You five years ago.
