Nani’s next film will be Jersey, a sports-based film that is set for release this summer. The shooting for Jersey is currently under progress and the film will reach the final stages soon. The post-production will reportedly begin shortly and plans are on to release it on April 19. We hear that Nani will be moving on to his next project after this. He has signed a deal to work with director Vikram Kumar and the film is scheduled to start rolling soon.

The star is also in talks with director Indraganti Mohan Krishna for a multi-starrer. Sources in the know say that the director impressed Nani with a script and that this project will go on the floors during the latter half of this year. Earlier, there were reports that Sharwanand was in talks to share screen space with Nani in the film but he could not take up the offer. Then, Dulquer Salman’s name was thrown in the ring but now we hear that the star did not sign on the dotted line due to prior work commitments.

Dulquer is currently busy with the Malayalam movie Oru Yamandan Premakadha directed by BC Boufal, who will be making his debut. The film’s script has been penned by popular writer duo Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Bibin George. Further, Dulquer has the Bollywood flick Zoya Factor right now needing his attention. The film is based on the novel of the same title penned by Anuja Chauhan. The story is about an advertising agency executive, Zoya Singh Solanki, getting to meet the Indian cricket team and turning out to be their lucky mascot, which eventually helps the team lift the Cricket World Cup in 2010.

With two heroes dropping out of the Indraganti Mohan Krishna – Nani project, the team is on the look-out for a suitable actor.
