Written by : TNM

Acclaimed filmmaker Lal Jose who is busy with his directorial Velipadinte Pusthakam, did not mince words when it came to heaping praises on his cinematographer Vishnu Sharma.

The director took to Facebook to post about his DOP thus: “I was lucky to work with great cinematographers who were my seniors, peers and juniors. I have never stopped learning from them. Now, considering the timeline I had spent in cinema, I can say that I am now working with this ‘baby’ Vishnu Sarma, the youngest cinematographer I have ever worked with. You are one of the best and I have started learning from you! (sic).”

Replying to the director’s post, Vishnu wrote, “Working with Laljose sir was always a dream, this was a dream come true. It’s very humble on his part to acknowledge me like this, all I could say is, Thank you for this wonderful learning experience.”

Coming from a director who has worked with some of the best technicians in tinsel town, the praise certainly has the cameraman elated. Starring Mohanlal and Anna Reshma Rajan in the lead roles, the film also has Salim Kumar, Priyanka Nair, Anoop Menon, Siddique, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Shivaji Guruvayoor and Alencier Ley Lopez playing important roles. The comedy drama is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under his banner Aashirvad Films.
