Ace producer Dil Raju is venturing into Bollywood! The producer will be remaking some of the hit Telugu films in Hindi and has begun the work process already. According to reports, he has recruited a CEO to take care of the activities in Bollywood.

To begin with, he will be remaking F2: Fun and Frustration in Hindi. It is confirmed that Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations and Boney Kapoor will be jointly bankrolling the venture. The remake will be directed by Anees Bazmee, well known for directing comedy entertainers.

F2: Fun and Frustration was bankrolled by his own production house Sri Venkateswara Creations. The Telugu version was made on a budget of Rs 30 crore and had collected over Rs 120 crore. While Venkatesh and Varun Tej played the heroes, it had Tammannah Bhatia and Mehreen Pirzada as their female leads. Those in the supporting roles in this multi-starrer were Rajendra Prasad, Prakash Raj, Nassar, Vennela Kishore, Prudhvi Raj, Subbaraju, Priyadarshi Pullikonda, and Brahmaji.

Devi Sri Prasad had composed music for F2 and the songs in it turned out to be massive hits. Considering the genre of the film, its makers had wanted the music director to come up with some peppy tunes and he had delivered just that. Sameer Reddy had cranked the camera and Bikkina Thammiraju was in charge of the editing.

Dil Raju will also be producing the remake of the Nani starrer Jersey in association with Allu Aravind.  Jersey was bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments and helmed by director Gowtam Tinnanuri. The film had Anirudh composing the tunes, Navin Nooli in charge of the editing and Sanu Varghese cranking the camera. Jersey had Nani and Shraddha Srinath playing the lead pair with Sathyaraj, Brahmaji and Ronit Kamra in supporting roles.

There are also reports that the hit film Yevadu, which had Ram Charan Teja and Allu Arjun in the lead, will also be remade with Nikhil Advani helming the project.
