Actor Deepti Sati, who shot to fame for her role in Neena, will play the female lead in Driving License. Prithviraj is playing the male lead in the film and Deepti will be seen as his wife.

Driving License will be helmed by Jean Paul Lal alias Lal Jr. Prithviraj is bankrolling the project under his home banner Prithviraj Productions in association with Listin Stephen’s Magic Frames. The script for Driving License has been penned by Sachy.

Touted to be a thorough commercial entertainer, Driving License is about a superstar who is crazy about luxury cars. It goes without saying that Prithviraj will be playing the role of the superstar in this flick. The film also stars Suraj Venjaramoodu in a prominent role and he will be seen as a vehicle inspector. The technical crew of this film includes Ranadive for wielding the camera and Sushin Shyam to compose the tunes.

Prithviraj also has the film Brother’s Day progressing simultaneously. Actor Kalabhavan Shajohn is making his directorial debut with this film. Listin Stephen will be bankrolling the film under his banner Magic Frames on a budget of Rs 15 crore. Miya George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Prayaga Rose Martin and Madonna Sebastian have been roped in to play the female leads in this film. Tamil actor Prasanna will be making his debut in Mollywood with Brother’s Day.

The official teaser of the film was released in July and it looks like the film is a commercial entertainer in every way. The teaser shows Prithvi mimicking Prem Nazir in a song, and then wearing a suit and saying, “I just have the looks, I am an oola (useless person).”

The camera work for Brother’s Day is done by Jithu Damodar and songs are composed by Nadirshah with the background score done by 4 Musics. The film is expected to release for Onam this year.
