Deepa Sannidhi signs film with newbie

Written by : TNM

Quashing all reports that she is interested only in pairing up with established stars, Deepa Sannidhi has gone ahead to sign on the dotted line to play a newbie’s lead pair. Her next outing will be Garuda in which she will be sharing the screen space with debutant Siddharth Mahesh.

Deepa is currently playing the female lead in the Darshan starrer Chakravarthy, which is slated for release soon. She had earlier worked with stars like Puneeth Rajkumar and Yash. On working in Garuda, the actress is reported to have told that it is a film with all commercial elements that will pull the audiences to the theatres.

The actress made her debut in Sandalwood with Saarathi in 2011, which won her quite a few awards and has been bagging some prestigious projects with leading stars since then. Apart from Kannada movies, she has also starred in a couple of Tamil films - Enakkul Oruvan and Yatchan.

Deepa’s move to work with debutants shows that she is keen on good scripts with meaty roles rather than the lead stars.
