Popular Sandalwood star Darshan is known for supporting films with good content. Recently he was seen at the trailer launch of the Kannada film Nanna Prakara, which has Kishore in the lead. As the chief guest, Darshan launched the trailer, which had the audience thrilled. Darshan also wished the entire team a grand success on the film’s release.

According to reports, Nanna Prakara will have several stories, which will connect in the end. It is touted to be a crime and suspense thriller. Debutant Vinay Balaji is the director of this film, which also stars Priyamani, Mayuri Kyatari and Pramod Shetty apart from Kishore. Nanna Prakara is bankrolled by Gururaj S under the banner GVK Combines.

Speaking about the film, its director Vinay told the Times of India in an interview, “It is a different kind of movie with four stories in it. Every plot has its own storyline and curiosity. There are different characters, set in various backdrops.”

In the film, Priyamani will be seen playing a doctor while Kishore will be seen as a cop. On playing a cop, Kishore said in another interview to the Times of India, “I have been playing police officer onscreen so often that people come up to me and ask me if I am a real cop. And I tell them that considering that I am wearing khaki for almost every third film, I may just get an honorary post on the force. I will be the crazy officer.”

Talking about working with Vinay, Kishore said, “With Nanna Prakara, working with a first-time director ensures that there is a different insight into filmmaking and a young energy on set, which rubs off on everyone. It is also an opportunity for me to pass on whatever I have learnt over the years to a new generation.”

On the film, he said that the narrative was confusing initially but finally arrived at a logical conclusion. Nanna Prakara is scheduled to hit the marquee on August 23.
