'Darbar' team watches 'Ayogya' in theatre

Darbar team had been shooting in Mumbai for the past few weeks and returned back to Chennai recently. Soon after the return, director AR Murugadoss along with his family and team made it to a theatre in the city to watch the Vishal starrer Ayogya.

Incidentally, Ayogya is directed by the debut director Venkat Mohan, an erstwhile associate of AR Murugadoss. After the screening, the director congratulated his protégé for coming out with a hit movie, say sources.

After watching the film, Murugadoss took to his social media and praised the whole Ayogya team. “Finally watched #Ayogya with my #Darbar crew, congratulations @ivenkatmohan @VishalKOfficial you guys made a wonderful film..we enjoyed a lot”, he wrote. 

Ayogya has Vishal playing the hero. The film is produced by B Madhu under his banner Light House Movie Maker. While Vishal played the lead star in it, Raashi Khanna was his female lead.

The supporting cast included Parthiban, director KS Ravi Kumar, Sachu, Vamsi Krishna and Pooja Devariya. The technical crew of Ayogya comprised Sam CS for music composition, while the cinematography and editing are by VI Karthik of Thupparivaalan fame and A Sreekar Prasad respectively.

Ayogya was released on May 10 amidst a lot of expectations and is doing well at the theatres. Ayogya is the remake of the hit Tollywood film Temper. It was an action entertainer that was written by noted writer Vakkantham Vamsi and directed by Puri Jagannadh. The film had NT Rama Rao Jr. and Kajal Aggarwal playing the lead pair.

Darbar is a Tamil language action film that is written and directed by AR Murugadoss. It is produced by Allirajah Subaskaran under his banner Lyca Productions. The film has superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role.

Nayanthara plays the female lead in this film with Prakash Raj, Nivetha Thomas, Prateik Babbar, Dalip Tahil, Yogi Babu, Soori, Harish Uthaman, Manobala, Suman, Anandaraj, Rao Ramesh and Bose Venkat in supporting roles. The film is scheduled to hit the marquee for Pongal next year.
