After the debacle of “10 Enradhukulla”, Chiyaan Vikram has been working hard on “Iru Mugan”, his upcoming release, also starring Nayanthara. The project, which is tipped to be a spy thriller, has been predominantly shot in Malaysia. With the project nearing completion, sources say that the makers are planning to release the film in the second week of August.

"August 12 is the tentative date of release. The team wants to capitalize on the Independence Day long weekend. As of now, everything is going as planned and the makers are relieved. The final schedule is currently being canned in Bangkok," the source said.

It is believed that both Vikram and Nayanthara play spies in the film. Nithya Menen also plays a pivotal role in this Anand Shankar-directed venture. Going by the action-packed teaser, audiences are in for a treat.
