Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi’s comeback film, Khaidi No 150, released to packed houses for Sankaranti earlier this year and has had a good response from his fans and critics. In an ad released by the producers of the film yesterday, March 5, 2017, it has been revealed that the film has collected Rs. 164 crore worldwide. This earns Khaidi No 150 the rare distinction of being the first single language film in South India to collect such a huge amount.

Directed by VV Vinayak, it is the remake of the Vijay starrer Kaththi, which was directed by AR Murugadoss. Chiru’s son and actor Ram Charan Teja had produced the venture under their home banner Konidela Production Company. Kajal Agarwal played Chiru’s lead pair in the film with Tarun Arora, Brahmanandam, Posani Krishna Murali, Ali, and Prudhviraj in the star cast playing important roles.

Khaidi No 150 came with the tagline – The Boss is Back – and true to those words he did it in style. Yes, the official box office figures released proves it!

It may be noted here that the megastar’s next will be a biopic on Uyyalawada Narashima Reddy, a freedom fighter and he will be seen in the title role.
