Written by : TNM

Expectations are rife over mega star Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which is touted to be a biopic on one of the first freedom fighters from Andhra, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.

While fans are waiting eagerly for the film to take off, sources in the tinsel town have now come out with the news that the final script is yet to be ready.

Apparently, Prachuri brothers, who have been entrusted with the scripting work, are still incorporating some changes to the script and the final version is yet to get ready.

This also means that Sai Madhav Burra will begin penning the dialogues only after the scripting is done.

Sources add that with very little material available about the legendary freedom fighter, it is difficult for the filmmakers to come up with the script but they are doing an extensive research to get the best possible results.

To be produced by Chiranjeevi’s home banner Konidela Production Company, the film will be helmed by Surendhar Reddy. While the ‘Mega Star’ would be playing the title role in the biopic, the star cast includes Nayanthara, Pragya Jaiswal, Amitabh Bachchan, Jagapathi Babu, Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Nassar, Mukesh Rishi, Raghu Babu, Subbaraju, Ravi Kishan, Paruchuri Venkateshwara Rao, Jayaprakash and Raghu Karumanchi.

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a high budget film with the producers earmarking Rs. 200 crore for the project. The film will be released in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil.

The Oscar award winning music composed AR Rahman will be composing the tunes for this flick with Ravi Varman cranking the camera and art director Rajeevan creating the sets.

With the film being set in the 18th century, the art director is doing extensive research to get it right.
