Chiranjeevi’s 150th film to start shooting in June under VV Vinayak's direction

After much dillydallying and speculation over Megastar Chiranjeevi’s landmark 150th film, information has finally begun trickling in about this film.

While it was originally reported that the film will be a remake of the Tamil blockbuster Kaththi, it is now reported that Chiranjeevi has advised the director to come up with a fresh script. According to some reports, VV Vinayak is simultaneously working on two scripts with two different teams, and interestingly, both the scripts are being readied to suit the likes of Chiranjeevi and his fans.

Ram Charan Teja, who is turning producer for Chiranjeevi's comeback film recently told PTI "He is starting his 150th film in May. He has taken a break from politics and he is going to start shooting for the film, which I am producing. I am very excited about it.”

According to sources, Chiru has advised the crew to start the shoot from June, once summer ends, so as not to risk shooting in the current heat wave. The delay to the film because of weather, however, is disappointing news for Mega fans.
