Written by : Digital Native

The Chiranjeevi-Koratala Siva film will go on floors in June this year. Reports are that the mega star has allotted dates for the project and an official announcement will be made soon.

The mega star will be completing his magnum opus Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy soon but will not be able to join the sets of the Koratala Siva directorial immediately as he needs to shed some weight. Chiru had put on some weight for Sye Raa and wants to put down for Koratala Siva’s film, say sources.

With Koratala Siva working on the script, fans should be excited as he will be teaming up with the mega star for the first time. We hear that the script is being written keeping in mind the star’s image. The film will be bankrolled jointly by Ram Charan under his banner Konidela Production Company in association with Matinee Entertainment.

Chirus’s upcoming film Sye Raa is being bankrolled by Ram Charan Teja under his home banner Konidela Production Company on a budget of Rs 200 crore. It has a bevy of stars from different film industries including Amitabh Bachchan who will be seen making a guest appearance as Gosayi Venkanna. Apparently, he plays Uyyalalwada Narasimha’s mentor in the film. The others in the star cast are Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Tamannaah, Jagapathi Babu, Kiccha Sudeep, Pragya Jaiswal and Brahmaji. R. Rathnavelu is the cameraman for this film, with A Sreekar Prasad editing it and Amit Trivedi wielding the music baton. It is a trilingual that will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

It may be noted here that the film unit had completed a major schedule in Georgia where they had shot the all-important war sequence. Being a historical film, a lot of research and efforts has gone into the project, we hear.
