Catherine Tresa to play baddie in Rana Daggubati film 'Nene Raju Nene Mantri'

Written by : TNM

Catherine Tresa will be seen playing the baddie in the Rana Daggubati starrer Nene Raju Nene Mantri.

The film has Kajal Agarwal as Rana’s lead pair.

Having no qualms over taking up a role that has grey shades, Catherine Tresa said that it will help her widen her scope for acting. The actress hopes that she will be able to try out new characters in the future with the success of Nene Raju Nene Mantri.

In fact, she was seen as a politician in the Allu Arjun’s starrer Sarrainodu and received good reviews for her performance in the film.

Directed by Teja, Nene Raju Nene Mantri is produced by Daggubati Suresh Babu under the banner Suresh Productions.

While Kajal Agarwal had worked with director Teja a decade ago in Lakshmi Kalyanam (released in 2007), this is the first time she will be pairing up with Rana.

Rana, who is known for being selective about his scripts, is basking in glory over the success of his recent hit, The Ghazi Attack.

Baahubali – the Conclusion, the magnum opus, which has Rana in a pivotal role will be out at the theatres on April 28th, 2017.
