Brothers Prithviraj and Indrajith team up for 'Ayalvashi'

Prithviraj and Indrajith, the star siblings in the Malayalam film industry, will be teaming up again for a film! Titled Ayalvashi, the film will be directed by debutant Irshad Parari, who worked as an assistant director in Prithviraj’s maiden directorial Lucifer. It is worth mentioning here that the brothers have shared the screen space in films like Tiyaan, Double Barrel, Classmates and Police so far.

The shooting of Ayalvashi will reportedly begin soon after Prithviraj is done with Aadujeevitham. Directed by Blessy, the film’s technical crew includes Resul Pookutty for sound designing, KU Mohanan for cinematography and Raja Muhammed for editing. Aadujeevitham will bring back the Oscar-winning music director AR Rahman back into the Malayalam film industry. It is being bankrolled by KG Abraham under the banner KGA Films.

Meanwhile, Indrajith has Kurup in his kitty in which he shares the screen space with Dulquer Salmaan. It has already been revealed that Dulquer plays Sukumara Kurup and Indrajith will be seen as the cop investigating the crime. Shine Tom Chacko has been roped in to play the role Bhasi Pillai. Kurup also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, and Sunny Wayne in pivotal roles. Srinath Rajendran is wielding the megaphone for this venture which is based on the life of the most elusive accused to date, Sukumara Kurup.

The film is bankrolled by Dulquer Salmaan’s own production house, Wayfarer Films, and M Stars. Kurup is scripted by Daniell Sayooj Nair and KS Aravind while Jithin K Jose has penned the story. On the central character Sukumara Kurup, it is well known that he is the most wanted criminal in the history of India.

The actor also has Thuramukham lined up for release. Nivin Pauly plays the lead role in this Rajeev Ravi directorial.
