Written by : TNM Staff

The Boston Globe on Monday featured an entire front-page image congratulating and thanking the people behind 'Spotlight', the movie which won the Best Picture Academy Award.

The movie is based on true incidents and revolves around a team of journalists who uncovered cases of systemic child sex abuse in the Boston area by numerous Roman Catholic priests.

Besides crediting everyone involved in the film, the newspaper also credited the original journalists who brought the story out.

"Generally, there's a feeling throughout the organization that the movie really is a faithful telling of the story. Everyone here is grateful for that. There's also the need to thank everyone who's worked on every Spotlight story for their work," Boston Globe CEO Mike Sheehan was quoted as saying.

Here is the ad.
