Sandalwood star Shivrajkumar’s Tagaru is set to go on the floors soon. However, while the project had been announced a few weeks ago, there was no news about who would play the female lead. It seems that this casting has now been finalised, and it has been confirmed that Bhavana will be playing the role in Tagaru.

The actor is excited about bagging the role and is looking forward to starring opposite Shivrajkumar. Bhavana said that she was initially offered an opportunity to work with the superstar in the P Vasu directorial Shivalinga, but schedules could not be worked out as she had other film commitments. Getting a second chance, Bhavna seems to have shown no hesitation in grabbing it.

Suri, of Duniya fame, has written the story and will be donning the director’s hat for Tagaru. The film also has Manvitha Harish, Dhananjay and Vasishta N Simha in important roles.

The film is touted to hit the screens in November this year.
