Balakrishna sports stylish look for upcoming flick 'Ruler'

Director KS Ravikumar is directing N Balakrishna in the upcoming film Ruler and the shooting of this film is under progress for quite some time now. It has been revealed already that Balayya plays dual roles in this entertainer. Recently, the first look of the star was unveiled online and we got to see him sporting a very stylish look. According to reports, Balayya will be playing a mafia don and a police officer in Ruler and the look released is presumed to be that of the don. Earlier reports were that he would be playing a politician in the film. We need to wait for a clarification from the Ruler team on the role he is playing.

Sonal Chauhan and Vedhika have been roped in to play the female leads in this flick. The combo scenes between the lead stars – Balayya, Sonal and Vedhika – are currently being shot in Bangkok.

The story for the movie is penned by Paruchuri Murali and the rest of the technical crew will be Chirantan Bhatt for music and Ram Prasad for cinematography. Ruler is being produced by C Kalyan under his banner Happy Movies. N Balakrishna and KS Ravi Kumar are coming together after the massive success of Jai Simha, which has upped the expectation levels for Ruler.

Balakrishna’s last release was the biopic on his late father, the legendary actor and politician, NT Rama Rao. It was released in two parts as – NTR Kathanayakudu and NTR Mahanayakudu – highlighting both his film and political career. The NTR biopic was helmed by J Krish and produced jointly by N Balakrishna along with Vishnu Induri and Sai Korrapati. It had an impressive star cast with Vidya Balan, Mohan Babu, Sumanth, Keerthy Suresh, Rana Daggubati and others. MM Keeravani composed music for this venture with Gnana Shekar V.S cranking the camera and Arram Ramakrishna editing it.
