The initiative was apparently a huge success with many men, women and children planting over 25 lakh saplings in 10 hours.

Former Chief Election Commissioner JM Lyngdoh to popular Telugu stars like Akkineni Nagarjuna, Allu Arjun, Chiranjeevi and Laxmi Manchu planted saplings in different parts of the city.
