Arya's next film, Kadamban, a forest-based action thriller directed by Ragavan will be hitting the screens on April 14.

According to the latest update, the makers have postponed the release of its Telugu version titled Gajendrudu, whereas its Tamil version will be released as planned.

“It’s a commercial entertainer through which I have slipped in a social message on the hazards of destroying nature and the environment,” said Raghava, remembered for his debut film Manja Pai.

Though the movie has enormous stunt sequences, the director revealed that the highlight of it all would be the climax which was shot in Thailand amidst 50 elephants.

This scene was choreographed by stunt master Dhilip Subbarayan, and with 100 fighters.

The film is set against the backdrop of a forest, and Arya plays a tribal, who makes a living by collecting honey in the forest.

Catherine Tresa will be starring opposite the actor.

The star cast also comprises Y Gee Mahendran, Madhuvanti Arun and Super Subburayan, and the music is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

The film is bankrolled by RB Choudhury’s Super Good Films and and Arya's The Show People.
